It's finally here and I STILL cannot believe it. I am finally a big girl, the oldest one in the halls, yikes. It's crazy how fast High School has gone by although I honestly could not be any more excited about college. In less than two months I'll be turning 18 and I think it's really time that I start growing up and prepare myself for the exciting years ahead. I have quite the full schedule this year as well as the tedious process of college applications and lets not forget that i'm taking the SATs again, ugh, but I know it'll all be worth it in the end.

I look much blonder right? I'm so excited about it!

What I wore: Seniors '11 shirt, UO skirt and Tory Burch huaraches.

FYI it was about 95 degrees out the first day of school, typical.

I am truly excited to be a Senior because before I know it I'll be a Freshman once again. I hope all of my fellow Jews had a wonderful New Year and a great summer. I don't know about you but I am SO ready for fall!

Don't get me wrong I love summer clothing, the dresses, the wedges and of course the easiness of not having to wear a million layers. But I really am a much bigger fan of fall clothing, and I'm talking the weather when its cold out but not so freezing that you need to wear tights under your jeans. As soon as I came home from RISD I was thrilled to see stores filled with sweaters and boots. Of course I'm not done shopping yet, but I have made a nice dent in my list.

1. H&M Sweater. I bought a sweater similar to this one in 3 colors. It's the perfect sweater and looks cute with just about anything.

2. Free People Wedge Boots. I love that these give me some height but are still extremely comfortable. The ruffle detail totally makes them.

3. UO Printed Skirt. I already own this skirt in another print and absolutely love it. I'm actually thinking about wearing it for the first day of my senior year.

4. Coach Hamptons Leather Flap. This is my parents back to school gift to me and I am so excited about it! I love this bag and am in love with the color.

5. UO Denim Skirt. The perfect fall staple. I love denim skirts, in my mind they will never go out of style.

6. UO Intarsia Sweater. I love the dainty bumble bees on this sweater, it's a cute pattern that isn't too overpowering.

Yikes, I haven't updated in forever! I had an amazing summer at RISD pre-college along with an enormous amount of work that I did. Hence the reason for the lack of updating. I'm really happy with the art I created and so excited about all of the amazing people that I met.

As I mentioned before my 'major' this year was Graphic Design, after completing the program I realized that I really love Graphic Design and I think it's what I want to major in in college, which is pretty awesome to think about. We did so many cool projects, hopefully some that I can use to put into my portfolio so that I can get into college!

While I was in Providence my family sent me so many letters, they are truly the best family I could ever ask for. I love them so much and am so blessed to have them.

I had an incredible summer and i'm so sad that it's over! I still have a month before school starts and I have no idea what i'm going to do! Not having class from 9 - 4 every day seems so bizarre! I'm sure I'll find something to do, maybe even go do a little back to school shopping ;) I hope that everyone is having a wonderful summer so far.

Saturday I spent the entire day working (homework that is) as well as running around Providence to get some things I needed and good lord was it hot outside! I have no idea why I was wearing jeans and a long sleeved shirt, I was clearly not thinking straight.

What I wore: A&F jeggings, A&F plaid shirt, MK sunglasses and Jack Roger sandals.

I don't think I've ever worn so much Abercrombie & Fitch at one time, yikes. I feel a little better now that i've gotten almost all of my homework done, but I know there's lots more to come! I have the best parents and sister of all time, they have already sent me packages and cards. I started to make a little card 'wall' and promise to take a picture of it by the end of my 6 weeks here.

I was going to wear red, white and blue as I usually do every year, but for some reason this year I just really wasn't in the mood. My friends and I went to the mall with intentions of going to the Melting Pot for some chocolate fondue, but of course it was the only restaurant that wasn't open. We were bummed and decided to see if we could find anything that was open, nope, nothing. Although there was a Dip & Dots machine which made me feel a little better. And of course we watched fireworks from our dorm rooms. Hope everyone has a wonderful week!

Weeks that is. The first week went really well I as I expected, honestly it's a little intimidating being here, they are so many people, and it already feels like everyone have formed little clicks, ugh so high school. Today was my first day of Foundation Drawing, I really don't enjoy drawing, i'm more of a 3D or painting type of person. I don't like spending hours drawing an apple in only pencil, which is exactly what we did today, along with drawing spheres and of course sticks and pine cones.

Really not a great photo, but i'm pretty happy with how it came out.

The weather has been so gorgeous these last 3 days, I am so not ready for it to go back to the hot hot heat, my friend Marissa and I were sitting and sipping Starbucks at the World War II memorial park where I snapped this photo. The sky looks gorgeous!

I have a ridiculous amount of homework to do this weekend, but they always pile it on you the first week, so I really shouldn't be too surprised. For my Graphic Design class I have to draw 10 detailed drawings of an egg beater, which I am really not looking forward to doing, again, drawing is not my thing. But I know the practice wouldn't kill me, let's just say I won't be leaving my room too much this weekend. Hope everyone has a great 4th of July weekend!

First assignment.

I finished my first assignment which isn't technically due until Monday but I have tons of other work that I need to do in the mean time, including a paper, ick! I mean really RISD, I don't mind taking Art History, but seriously writing a paper? I think not.

What I wore today: H&M T shirt, Levi shorts, J.Crew belt and Bakers sandals.

For my Basic Design class we were assigned to find an item from the RISD Nature Lab and to treat it as a 'paint by number'. We had to draw the object 3 times, each a different view. We were allowed to use 5 to 8 colors and alternate the ratio of each color on each painting.

I realize it's hard to tell, but I chose an artichoke each with a shadow underneath it, and I think it came out pretty cool.

I had my first class of my 'major' today, Graphic Design, and it was awesome. We made our own paper. So not what I was expecting us to do today but it was extremely interesting. I have it again tomorrow and I cannot wait to see what else we'll do!

Dorm Living.

I've moved into my single at RISD precollege and I am loving it so far. I thought it would be fun to show you all my dorm while its still clean and before the art begins! We have our first class tomorrow, hence why my dorm is still so clean. Once I start getting homework, it'll be a different story.

Our RA made us decorations for our doors, everyone has a different food and we all got a treasure chest filled with Starburst!

Yes, Room 410 means that I'm on the 4th floor in case you were wondering. And there are NO I repeat no elevators in any of the girls dorms. I know what your thinking, 4 flights, it's really not that bad, well you're wrong! If you've ever been to the RISD/Brown campus you would know that it's EXTREMELY hilly, literally there is no flat ground. The point is I don't particularly enjoy walking the 4 floors but we are the only girls dorm with air conditioning so I guess I really shouldn't be complaining.

My lovely bed. Yes, you spot a stuffed Hello Kitty, of course! And yes, I need a need a step stool to get up on my bed, embarrassing.

My closet. This is only one third of my clothes obviously :) But compared to my dorm room last year, this closet is a dream. And I'm proud of myself, I actually didn't bring THAT many shoes.

I'm excited and of course a little nervous for my first class tomorrow, but i'm sure it'll be great. Hopefully I'll make a friend whose willing to take pictures of my outfit everyday. I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend, Eclipse comes out in 3 days, Ahh i'm so excited, anyone going to see it?

Father's Day weekend.

I spent the weekend with my family in NYC. On Saturday JGIWC and I went Bergdorf Goodman for lunch where we spotted Lily Collins, I love her! And of course we did some shopping, usually there are never any good shoes on sale in my size, but I was astonished by how many fabulous pairs that there were! I ended up buying adorable Tory Burch Wedges, I wore them all day Sunday, def my new favorite shoes. For dinner we went to one of my favorites, Spice, it was super yummy! And to top it off we had dessert at Max Brenner, I never get tired of that raspberry melting heart.

I bought them in gold and they are surprisingly comfortable! Love Love Love!

What I wore: Free People romper, UO fedora and Tory Burch Huaraches.

On Sunday we had Father's day brunch at DBGB, my father always gets us 'party favors' for every holiday we celebrate that involves a brunch, or even sometimes that involves a dinner. For this particular holiday he bought my sister and I Prada sandals, I could not believe it! JGIWC and I hands down have the greatest father we could ever ask for, and we both know it. After brunch I bought some cute earrings on sale at Anthropologie and a great headband for $5 at J.Crew. To continue the celebration of our father we had BBQ at Blue Smoke for dinner, the mac and cheese is to die for.

What I wore: F21 chiffon dress, J.Crew headband and Tory Burch wedges.

RISD Precollege part one.

Last summer I went to the RISD Precollege program, it was one of the most amazing experiences of my life and I loved every minute of it. As soon I came home my parents asked what I was going to do next summer, I had no idea, you know how parents are always planning ahead. After weighing my options I still had no idea what I wanted to do my last summer of high school. My parents suggested that I go back to RISD, at first I thought it was silly because why would I want to do the same thing twice? But then I thought about it again, and why would I not want to? I had such a great time the first time, I might as well do it again!

Last summer my 'major' was Fashion Design, hence the barbie outfit I made in this photo. But this summer I'm doing Graphic Design and i'm really excited to see what we'll be doing.

Marc Jacobs inspired collection.

Everyone is required to take Art History, Basic Design, Basic Drawing and of course your major. For fashion class we had to create many different collections, for all different ages and sizes. It was interesting to step out of my comfort zone and create something that I would never wear but still had a little me in it.

For our final project we had to design a garment made out of paper. Everyone made such amazing dresses, I made mine out of envelopes. We had an awesome fashion show with over 80 paper dresses, it was truly amazing to see, everyone was so talented. I made amazing friends and had a fabulous summer. I am so excited to do it all over again!

I've always loved heels, I'm a petite 5'2 and love to add a little height to myself when I can. As many heels as I have I never really wear them because I find them uncomfortable. I'm sure its just something I need to get used to, but unfortunately I never really have the time to practice trekking around in heels. I am so excited that wedges are a huge trend this summer because I absolutely love them! Unlike heels I find them much easier to walk in and much more comfortable. As I showed you in my last post, I just bought a fabulous pair at Nine West and love them! Of course now I feel that I need another pair, maybe one of these lovely ones.

1. Steve Madden 'Bennott' Wedge ($99.95). Personally these are a little too high for me but I absolutely love the studs and I especially like them in cognac.

2. Steve Madden 'Daybreak' Wedge ($89.95). I'm a big fan of zipper details, which is the main reason I love these, I also really like the leather and the ribbon.

3. UO 80%20 Tea Party Oxford Wedge ($98). I mean floral oxfords with a wedge? How could you possibly go wrong? I think these would probably look best with jeans.

4. Michael by Michael Kors 'Sycamore' Wedge ($127). These are classic MK shoes with the buckle and all.

5. Jeffrey Campbell Cork Heel ($128). These are hands down my favorite wedges of the bunch, I just wish they came in more colors.

6. Jeffrey Campbell 'Snick' Wedge ($120). I love the peep toe and the leather. These would look super cute with a floral dress.

I've been doing a lot of shopping lately with the excuse of "well I'll need it for RISD", It's a pretty good excuse I admit, but I know I'll only be able to use it for so much longer. I really have bought everything on my list except for maybe one pair of white denim shorts and a pair of high waisted shorts. But other than that, i'm pretty set for summer. School is FINALLY over and now I just have to take my finals and state exams and I'll be done with Junior year! I cannot believe i'm going to be a senior next fall, it's unreal.

1. F21 Harmonious Chiffon Dress ($29.80). Love love this dress! I feel like it'll look great dressed up or dressed down.

2. F21 Mineral Wash Bow Top ($22.80). I'm a big fan of this kind tye die, and it has a bow on it, so how could I possibly pass it up?
3. MBMJ Pretty Nylon Tate Diamond Print Tote ($198). My official RISD tote, to carry around all of my art supplies and pads of paper. It's so light and I love the pattern.
4. Nine West Ersilia Wedge ($69). I bought these at the Nine West store today and actually got mine on sale for $40, such a deal! I basically wore them right out of the store, i'm in love.
5. F21 Sequin Trim Acid Tunic ($22.80). Such a cute dress that's great to throw on on those lazy days.

Boy am I tired. Today was an extremely full day of school, I still don't understand why were still taking tests the last weeks of school, but hey what can you do? I took a math test today and tomorrow I have my French final and my last Chem test of the year, hurray! But enough about school, is anyone else getting extremely annoyed with this weather? I mean since when is New York this humid? seriously this is not Florida.

I bought this adorable romper at Woodbury Commons over the weekend. Man do I love it there, seriously I could spend days there happily. I also bought a really cute Free People shirt dress as well as some Fab Barney's New York sandals. I can't wait to wear them, but it needs to stop raining first because they're suede :)

How precious is this bag?! I just ordered it a couple days ago and I cannot wait for it to come. Anyone who knows me knows that this was screaming my name the second I laid my eyes on it. Oh Forever 21 you never disappoint!

First I have to start off saying I am SO excited that there is only 8 days of school left! Thank the lord! Its actually ridiculous how much work teachers give the last two weeks of school, I mean come on, do you really want to spend your summer grading all of that?

Anyway, scallops. Has anyone else been noticing this detail? It's everywhere! I love it, I think it gives an outfit a nice feminine touch, but not too much.

1. Lucca Couture Chiffon Scallop Short ($48). I'm a big fan of these, they just look so cute and sweet.

2. Kimchi Blue Scallop Skirt ($58). This is for sure going on my RISD wish list, I feel like this skirt would look adorable with a million different things.

Yes I'm still alive, if any of you have been wondering what I've been up to. Everyone always asks me what I could possibly be doing that makes me so busy, well I am a junior in high school and I have a LOT of stuff to do! Seriously folks, I would not make this stuff up. So today was a boring normal day of school per usual, I was expecting to come home and look up my SAT scores online. But like an idiot, I typed in the wrong password too many times so I cannot see them until tomorrow now! Aw well, what can you do?

I can't believe that this are last full week of school, it's so crazy! Ah I have so many things to study for and I'll be leaving for RISD before I know it. Things are going to be very hectic right about now but I'll try my best to update, promise!

Mother's Day Weekend.

I spent the entire weekend with my lovely family in NYC. On Saturday night we went to see the Broadway show "Promises, Promises". I had a feeling I would love it because Sean Hayes and Kristin Chenoweth are it, I mean, how can you not love them? The show was adorable, I recommend everyone to go see it, seriously it was too cute and the choreography was amazing.

After the show my sister and I rushed home to catch Betty White on SNL. Was she hilarious or what? You gotta give her some props, she was truly great, although I could've used a Gilly sketch, but I'll cross my fingers for one next week with Alec Baldwin.

On Sunday we went out to brunch at DBGB, that place is so yummy! And spent the rest of the day walking around and shopping. As tempted as I was, I didn't buy one single thing! Considering all of the money I spent on prom, I'm trying to be a little smarter with my money. For dinner we went to a family favorite, Pig Heaven. It was a wonderful Mother's Day weekend all and all, hope you has one too!

Junior Prom.

So I've had lots of people ask me what i'm wearing for Junior Prom, since the event is about two weeks away, I figured that it's time to share. When I went shopping with my family a couple weeks ago I tried on tons and tons of dresses, I ended up getting a dress that wasn't what I originally wanted at all, but I really love it anyway.

1. BCBG Pleated Trapeze Dress. I originally wanted a bright color, but this pink is really pretty and it'll look great with my tan :)

2. Miu Miu Pink Pleated Heels. I found these at the Neimans Outlet for a steal, how fabulous are they? I'm still reeling that I own Miu Miu shoes.

3. J.Crew Necklace. I couldn't find my exact necklace online, but this one is very similar. The difference is that mine has clear and opaque stones.

4. Urban Outfitters Tri-Stone Stud. These match the necklace perfectly and add a nice touch, but aren't too much.

5. Je s s i c a M c C l i n t o c k S e q u i n B o w C l u t c h . I do not own this, but I am kind of in love with it, and I think my outfit needs it.

So now there's the issue of my hair, I want to wear it down and straight but maybe with some braids in it? I'm unclear. Any Suggestions? And I also think I need some gold bangles to finish the outfit off.

So i'm a little challenged and wore new shoes on a day when it poured, silly silly me, but luckily I think they're fine. I bought these Bakers sandals on Friday and found them kind of odd looking, but that's what I liked about them. I was told today in school today that they're 'interesting', which could be either a good or a bad thing. I'm still not positive how I feel about them, but clearly I own them now and I do think I like them.

I'm looking kind of tan right? No I did not go anywhere exotic over the weekend, unfortunately. I went to get spray tanned with JGIWC for my first time ever! I was a little nervous about the whole process but it wasn't scary at all and I love being tan! I wanted to test it out and see if I liked the way it looked, because I was considering doing it before Junior Prom, mostly because I do not want to look like a ghost in the pictures. And tan will go quite well with my pink dress :)

Today was long day with way too many classes, I am thrilled that tomorrow is Friday (as i'm sure is the rest of the world)! We had such bizarre weather today in New York. It was beautiful and sunny for most of the day and then as soon as school let out it started pouring. There was lightning and thunder, needless to say it was scary. And then I looked out the window again and it was sunny and beautiful again, so weird.

What I wore today: F21 denim cutoffs, T- shirt with zipper pocket, F21 rope belt, Madewell cardigan and Sam Edelman sandals.

I got lots of compliments on my outfit today as well as a lot of people telling me that I looked 'normal', not really sure what that means, but I guess it could be worse. I have such a busy weekend ahead and should probably get a heads up on homework... EW. Hope everyone had a great Earth Day!

As I've mentioned before I'm taking AP Art in school, we all have to pick a concentration of things to focus on, mine is ionic dolls and stuff animals. Here are some of my latest pieces:

Raggedy Ann: acrylic paint; she's a little creepy, but I kind of like that about her.

Classic Barbie: acrylic paint; I'm still not sure if this feels finished but I do like that she's not centered.

Sock Monkey: collage; I love the texture the collage gives it and I think the bananas really finished it.

I should probably go start my next piece, I have two due next week! Any ideas and opinions? I would love to hear your feedback :)

Wah Wah Wednesday.

Is it really only Wednesday? Yikes this week is going by slowly. Although on the other hand I cannot believe that it's already April 21st! I have the SATs in like two weeks for the first time and I am freaking out. I've been taking a class though so hopefully I'll do okay. School was pretty good today, nothing too exciting to report. I went au natural with my hair again which I rarely do and got so many compliments. I honestly am not a fan of my curly hair, but it's nice to see that other people like it.

I recently found out that I was accepted in the RISD precollege program again (I did it last summer). I had such an amazing summer last year, so I thought I might as well do it again! Last time I 'majored' in Fashion Design and this time I'm doing Graphic Design. I am extremely excited and am more than ready for Junior year to be over!

Boy am I exhausted, I'm not really sure why but today just felt extremely long, but then again, don't Mondays always? Today we ACTUALLY ran the mile and it really wasn't that bad. Although it did make me realize that I really should join a gym.

The weather was absolutely perfect out today. Spring has always been my favorite season. I'm just crossing my fingers that the weather stays this nice considering last week was a heat wave. Also TV related, the finale of Project Runway is this week, I'm rooting for Seth Aaron, what about you?

I was so not looking forward to today because we we're supposed to run the mile in school. I complain about a lot of things but the mile run by far is the thing I complain the most about. Although it's only like 10 minutes out of my life, I hate it more than words can describe. I am not athletic and in no way a runner. Our teacher decided to be nice to us and not make us run it today because it was 85 degrees out. Unfortunately we will have to run at it at some point.

What I wore today: UO shorts, Topshop top and oxfords.

As I was freaking out about the mile I decided I needed something to calm myself down. And what else is there but Starbucks? My friend Katharine and I went to get some.

I never ever buy a Venti, but I felt that is was necessary.

It definitely brightened my day and made it so much better. Man I wish I could go to Starbucks everyday but unfortunately I gotta actually go to school. I have lots of work to do and should probably go get to it!

AH back to school, so much fun. It actually wasn't too bad today but boy this is going to be a long week. I feel lots of tests coming, as well as lots of art work to be done. I forgot to take a picture this morning :( But it's ok because I have the cruise night outfits:

When: Formal Night on the cruise, yes I realize I really don't look all that formal but I bought this dress last year and finally got to wear it! I feel like its much cuter in person but you get the point.

When: This happened to be the day that my chest got extremely sunburned so I opted to wear something with a high neck, yikes that was painful! How cute is this necklace?

When: The second to last night of the cruise, I love love this dress.

I came home yesterday from my fabulous cruise to Mexico, which I went on with my family. We had a great time and ate way too much food. As my sister likes to say, a cruise does require many 'costume' changes. Although I don't feel like I really did that much (besides relax), I did change my outfit at least twice a day. When: This was Day two of the cruise, I was feeling a little sea sick and slept most of the day, although once I finally felt better I had a great day and a yummy dinner.

What I wore: F21 romper, J.Crew T-shirt, Juicy Couture bag and Sam Edelman sandals.

When: This was the day we went to Costa Maya, which my sister and I kept referring to as Mexifo, because it was so fake and touristy, but we still had fun.

What I wore: (can you say unflattering picture?) Free People shirt, UO shorts, vintage bag and Sam Edelman flats.

When: Walking around Cozumel, there were so many jewelry stores and an aroma of Mexican food. It was a blast seeing all of the culture and cute little things, I ended up buying an adorable 'Mexican' style shirt and a sterling silver Hello Kitty Ring.

What I wore: UO dress, F21 striped sweater and Jack Roger sandals.

When: This was on the last day of the cruise, my entire family went to get our teeth whitened because the spa was having a great deal. I was hoping to come home with tan skin and white teeth, but at the looks of this photo, i'm not looking too tan.

I started off my day with a lovely brownie party in French class. I made the brownies, and if I do say myself they were quite delicious! While enjoying my brownies I was severely stressing to take my U.S. History test. I took it second period and it went much better than expected. The rest of the school day breezed by and I am quite happy to be on vacation.

What I wore today: UO plaid shirt, F21 pleather skirt, black tights, J.Crew headband and Nine West boots.

My friends Emily, Kristina and I had such a fun adventure after school. We did a little shopping and I bought A&F jeggings which I am now obsessed with. I also got some cute stuff at H&M that I am sure to bring with me on my cruise. After shopping, we had a delicious Chinese dinner and Red Mango for dessert ( although i'm not a fan). All and all we had a great day, and it was a wonderful way to start my vacation :)

I have a working camera again! Today was the first day in a while that I felt completely okay and healthy. It was beautiful out today and I was in a great mood. Today felt extremely easy going although I do have a huge test tomorrow and some other things to be done. Tomorrow is my last day of school before Spring Break and I am SO excited to go on our cruise, which we are leaving for on Monday.

What I wore today: Lilly Pulitzer elephant dress (that JGIWC bought me), UO leather jacket, brown tights and two tone Tory Burch flats.

In math class today my friend Julie and I had to make a graph. Honestly it felt more like art than math, it was definitely the best math class we've ever had. We were so proud of the graph we made, I even added a heart :)

Sorry guys it's been a while. I've had (and still have) a stomach virus so that hasn't been too pleasant. I'm feeling a lot better though, so that's good. I'm still without a camera charger, although I ordered a new one so it should be here soon. Only one more week until Spring break, woo hoo! Although i'm not going to Paris, (im going to Mexico), I decided to make a post dedicated to the fabulous Paris! Because I do take French and I would love to visit France again at some point (I went when I was 10).

1. Topshop Paris Charm Crop Top ($55). I Love the pattern, would look super cute with jeans.

2. Topshop Paris Theme Ankle Socks ($6). These are silly but I think they would look fabulous with a pair of oxfords.

3. Forever 21 Cropped Bonjour Paris Tank ($14.90). I'm usually not a fan of shirts with talking inanimate objects, but I must admit this is super cute.

4. Longchamp 'Pilage Tour Eiffel' Tote ($155). I own this tote in grey and get so many compliments on it. It's a great bag and the eiffel tower is a cute touch.

5. Markus Lupfer Je T'aime Cotton T-Shirt Dress ($165). Not gonna lie, i'm kind of dying for this dress. It's one of those things that you could just throw on and it'll look great.

6. Topshop Knitted Eiffel Tower Jumper ($80). I love the light colors, it would look adorable with shorts or jeans.

I must apologize for not posting recently, I lost my camera charger and haven't been able to take any pictures :( Hopefully it'll turn up soon so I'll be able to post again.

The weather here has been absolutely beautiful lately, unfortunately it's supposed to get cold again tomorrow but it was nice while it lasted. The nautical trend has always been one of my favorites for Spring. Although it is a 'trend' it never really goes out of style. Here are so of my favorite nautical pieces for this season:

1. Forever 21 Pin-up Sailor Shorts ($22.80). I like that these aren't the traditional nautical colors but regardless they are super cute.

2. Urban Outfitters Nautical Posts ($12.00). These can add a nautical look to any outfit.

3. Urban Outfitters Anchor Ring ($12.00). Just simply adorable.

4. Urban Outfitters BDG 3/4 Sleeve Nautical Tee ($28.00). A good basic for every gal to have, and the 3/4 sleeves look great with shorts.

6. Fred Flare Anchor Duffle ($24.00). This is quite a literal example of nautical, but its a great little bag to tote around.

Can you believe its already March? I was just thinking about it and school ends in four months, that's crazy! This school year is going by so quickly and before I know it it'll be Spring Break. I am ready to get tan and to get away from this snow. So I don't know if you've noticed in my recent pictures, or those who know me, but my hair is looking pretty terrible lately. My roots are way too dark and I definitely need a hair cut. Luckily for me I'm doing both tomorrow. It's about time! Now back to my Spring Wishlist:

1. Lark & Wolf by Steven Alan Peg Pant ($58). These pants aren't exactly me, But I like how chic and sophisticated they look.

2. Forever 21 Striped Skirt With Belt ($15.80). Love the nautical feel and it's just a cute staple piece for Spring.

Happy March! It was a nice surprise to have a three day weekend. I honestly thought there was no way would have another snow day and yet it happened. But I am SO over this snow, enough is enough. Unfortunately it's supposed to snow again on Wednesday, but I'm just going to pray that it doesn't. It was actually really nice out today, I'm hoping the weather will stay like this, but it's not looking too good.

What I wore today: Gap black tee, UO grey skirt, UO flower tights and Nine West boots.

This morning I wanted to wear my new Topshop tights and as soon as I tried putting them on I ripped a huge hole in them. It was so sad and now they're ruined and I didn't even get to wear them once! Such a bummer, but what can you do? Besides my tights debacle, today was a pretty good day overall. Although I have like seven pounds of homework due on Wednesday so I should probably get on that. I also finished another art piece and promise to post a picture tomorrow!

Sorry for the slow down of posts, it's been raining every day this week and I keep forgetting to take my picture before I leave the house, and by the time I get home its not a pretty wet sight. But on a happier note I got my sandals that I've been waiting for in the mail today!

Sam Edelman Gilda Gladiator

These are either like one or two years old? But either way I love them! They were a deal because they aren't a new style, but they're perfect and they go with everything. I cannot wait to wear them, hopefully by the time I get my cast off (a month) it'll be semi warm outside. These are definitely going to be my 'go to' shoes because I already know they're comfortable (I owned them in black) and they are just adorable! I totally recommend them if anyone is looking for a good gladiator.

So I have to wonder I know people are reading my blog, but why does no one ever comment (I think you have to press 'submit comment' twice) ? :( it's just thought, I would love to hear everyones' feedback!

First day back after a long break is always tough and today was no exception. Because of our numerous (two) snow days I was expecting to walk into every class and be presented with a test. This was not the case, apparently my teachers decided to be nice and push everything back a day. That means that I now have three tests and a quiz tomorrow, boy have I got some studying to do! So sad that I will have to miss Secret Life and Greek, but what can you do? I am so not ready to be back in school mode but it seems like I really don't have a choice.

What I wore today: A&F plaid shirt, Zara cardigan, UO denim skirt, navy tights and Boutique 9 oxfords.

I'm taking AP Art in school and we're starting our concentrations; a series of drawings and paintings with our choice of topic. My topic is dolls, so I thought I would show you my different pieces as I progress with my project.

My first painting is of a Russian doll, honestly I don't think the photo does it justice. It looks much better in person. It's acrylic paint and the flowers are made from Perler Beads with little silver stickers as their centers. It's not amazing but I'm happy with it, I can't wait to show you more!

Yesterday was quite the shopping day for my Family. First we went to H&M to look at the new Sonia Rykiel collection, there are so many cute things and contrary to our belief there weren't even that many people there.

I got the black crossbody bag (#7) and the striped sweater with the pink bow (#5). Afterwards my dad took me to Urban Outfitters because I wanted to buy some shorts. I ended up buying the BDG 5 pocket shortie (#1), which I love and will probably buy in another color and in addition to the shorts I purchased the BDG Banded Straw Boater Hat (#3), which I'm still not sure that I can pull it off, but Im gonna try my best. Lastly from UO I bought the Deena & Ozzy Mixed Media Oxford Slingback (#8) which I was so excited that they fit me because UO shoes NEVER fit me and these were just too adorable to pass up. After shopping in NYC we went to the mall because my mom had to return some things. I ended up buying a plaid shirt from A&F because it was on sale for $13 but shh! don't tell anyone because I'm really not a fan of the store. I also bought the Striped Sailorette Top (#2) from F21 because I had giftcard there and it's just SO me.

On Friday my mom and I went shoe shopping for our cruise. We both ended up not buying shoes although I bought the Curls and Coils Necklace (#4) from Anthropologie which I have been wanting ever since I spotted in the catalogue. And my mom bought me the MBMJ Friends Giraffe Necklace (#6) which is just so cute.

I am shopped out (and out of cash) and will not be going shopping again for quite some time! I hope everyone had a great break and a good week to come!

So I'm on vacation for a week and honestly so far it has been REALLY boring. I can't drive so unless one of my friends comes to get me I basically cant leave the house. I mean I could walk... but I'd rather not freeze. But I must admit that it is nice to just relax because I soon as school starts up again I will not have any time to do that. So for now i'm just doing homework and some artwork (promise to post pictures). I hope everyone who's off is a having a great vaca. And now back to my Spring Wishlist:

1. Silence & Noise Lace Tiered Zipper Tank ($38). I love the lace and I like that this top has the zipper in the front so that it's not too sweet.

2. Kimchi Blue Floral Notch Lapel Halter Dress ($58). This dress is just adorable, I love the bow in the back and the collar in the front.

3. UNIQLO Denim Biker Jacket ($47). I'm not the hugest fan of this store only because there are always a million people in it and I always feel claustrophobic, but this denim jacket is adorable and would look great over a dress.

4. Silence & Noise Ruffle Front Silk Dress ($58). I love the bright pink and the fact that this dress could be dressed down or up.

5. BB Dakota Tatum Stripe Top ($60). Very adorable and nautical, would look cute with jeans, shorts or a skirt.

6. Kimchi Blue Studded Atlantis Tank ($42). I like buying cute printed tanks because they always come in handy. I especially love the studs on this one.

Valentine's Day with JGIWC.

I spent Valentine's Day and President's Day (can't forget about them!) with my loving sister (JGIWC) in the city. Yesterday we had a delicious brunch with my parents and went to the Barney's warehouse sale afterwards. I bought a fab Pipit dress, it looks kind of like a shopping bag, but it's awesome! I promise to wear it soon and show you. For dinner we went to one of my favorites, Dos Caminos. They gave us all Valentine candies, although they were in Spanish so I have no idea what any of them say!

What I wore: Black tee, UO dress, black tights and Nine West boots.

It's hard to see, but take my word for it, they're in Spanish.

Today my mom, sister and I went shopping in Soho (no surprise). I bought the cutest purse that's shaped as a watermelon from H&M and some tights with bows on them from Topshop. I've said it before and I'll say it again, I am SO pumped for Spring I really cannot wait. Although the one thing that I actually need is shorts, so I gotta keeps my eyes open for some cute ones. It was so cold and windy out today so my sister and I stopped for some snacks and Starbucks. We went to get the world's smallest cupcakes, Baked by Melissa, they are very yummy!

I know its also hard to see, but do you see that teeny tiny cupcake? That's it. Red velvet, yum!

It's a lovely winter wonderland here in New York and although the snow is beautiful and I have loved having two snows days in a row... I am SO ready for Spring. Winter is starting to get old, don't you think? Unfortunately we probably have a good two more months of the icy weather here in the North. But I can still dream about spring can't I? I've decided to make a wish list of Spring entire, and today is shoes and accessories!

1. Foley + Corinna Disco City Bag ($198). I have wanted this bag for quite some time, it's the perfect size and it goes with everything.

2. Marc by Marc Jacobs Double Wrap Bolt Cuff ($78). I love these both I would definitely need at least two of them, they looked better stacked.

3. Vanities Skull Bracelet ($125). These bracelets are so fun, although they are a little overpriced in my opinion. Maybe I'll make my own?

4. Deena & Ozzy Straw Boater Hat ($34). I'm not sure if I could pull this hat of but I think it's super cute.

5. Harajuku Lovers 'Danson' Sandal ($64.95). These are MUST haves for me. As soon as I'm in Nordstrom I am snatching these up.

6. Sam Edelman 'Evie' Oxford ($148). I really don't need these but I do think that they are quite fabulous and Sam Edelman are always comfortable.

...with a broken wrist.

Now let me tell you this has been so much more difficult than I thought it would be. My splint which will be on for about two weeks constricts my elbow, therefore its near to impossible to get anything over it. So I thought I would share my wisdom with anyone who's going through this difficult challenge.

1. Knit sweaters are your friend. Knit is stretchy and really the only thing that will fit over my elbow. Considering the fact that it's freezing in NY right now, I need something covering my arms. My new favorite sweater which I bought in two colors is this byCORPUS Pleated Sweater, which I did buy on sale but its cheaper in the store!

2. Winter coats are too difficult to get on and off. So for a warm alternative I have been wearing Ponchos. I've been wearing an old grey knit one from Gap lately but I love love this Kimchi Blue Fux Fur Neck Poncho, and its on sale for a deal so I might be needing that!

3 & 4. Jeans are the way to go. As you all know I love wearing dresses and skirts and wear them almost everyday. But with the splint its just too much to take on and off and is kind of a pain. Because of this wonderful occasion my parents took me to the mall to buy new jeans (which I needed anyway). I bought the BDG Black Authentic Skinny Jean and the BDG High-Waited Ankle Cigarette. I love them both, UO jeans are really the only jeans that ever fit me well.

Today actually felt like one of the longest days of school ever and boy am I happy that it's over. Tomorrow is Friday, hurray! I am SO ready for the weekend. Now let me tell you about what happened yesterday:

What I wore Today: Velvet brand tee, F21 faux fur vest, F21 dark wash jeans, my new initial necklace and Gap motorcycle brown boots.

My arm is looking a little funky in this picture don't you think? Well you guessed it, I have a cast on it. Here's the story: Yesterday morning my parents dropped me off at school. It had just snowed the night before as I walked across the parking lot. I walked on the sidewalk making my way to the side door of my school when I slipped and fell out of no where. I slid right onto the floor and tried to break my fall with my arm. That was not such a great idea on my part, I broke my wrist.

I'm the first person in my immediate family to ever break a bone, so it's a pretty big deal. We were all a little bit freaked out because we didn't know what to do. I'm fine and have a splint on it right now. I'll be getting a cast in a week or two. Thank the lord for that because this thing is so freaking uncomfortable. I literally can't move my arm. It hurts A LOT but hopefully the pain will go away soon. Everyone has been so sweet and helpful and I really appreciate it. I have to find a way to make this thing fashionable.

I decided that I'm not going to change my blog address, sorry for all the confusion! It's staying as it is, I promise this time!

Could yesterday have been any colder? I think not. I had on six layers and could still not feel anything. I went shopping in Soho with my friend Tori and we had a lovely day. Just to name a few stores we went to Anna Sui, Betsey Johnson, Topshop, Forever 21, Urban outfitters and many many more stores. We also had a delicious lunch at Le Pain Quotidien, and even though I was frozen, I managed to get lots of shopping done, and strictly Spring clothes of course.

MEADE Lace Up Shoes - I love these and cannot wait to wear them in the Spring with cute dresses and jeans.

Bow Print Crop Blouse - I love the bows and the silky material, it would definitely look cute with the shoes.

Forever Yours Crop Top - I spotted this online and thought it was adorable and I love wearing crop tops with high waisted shorts.

Striped Sweater Cardigan - I bought it in red, it's a good Spring basic to have.

I'm going on a cruise in March and have already been searching for some 'cruise wear'. And today is dedicated to sandals. Designer sandals are so expensive but lucky for you and me, the latest trend for many designers is Jelly sandals. They are extremely affordable and quite adorable. I found an array of different Jellies and I really can't pick which one I like best!

Marc by Marc Jacobs Gold Jelly ($95) - Marc Jacobs can never go wrong in my mind and these are no exception. I love the laces.

Stuart Weitzman Blingy Peeptoe Jelly ($158) - I spotted these in the store a month or two ago and loved them. Stones on sandals seem to be a big trend.

Valentino Couture Bow Jelly Sandal ($275) - These are a splurge, but they are fabulous and are so Valentino.

Everyone has a fashion weakness and mine just happens to be dresses. Last year I was absolutely in love with this Phillip Lim dress, I spotted in Teen Vogue and was DYING for it but didn't have an extra $500 lying around to buy it. Sadly I don't own anything Phillip Lim because I'm a teenage girl who does not have that kind of money to spend on clothes. I always keep my eyes open at outlet stores and on sales racks of course, but I've found nothing so far.

Today, I was doing some online shopping, (which I often do) and found an almost exact replica. Now I realize this isn't good for Phillip Lim, but its great for me! It's from Forever 21 and its only $32. I'm in love and am going to Forever 21 as soon as I can. How fabulous is this dress?

Today I went into the city to take my lovely sister to brunch for her birthday. We went to Alice's Teacup and it was delicious! I had poached eggs on top of a ham and cheese scone, yum! I went with her Bloomingdale's to get her makeup done. While there I fell in love with the new Coach Poppy slim totes, they are so adorable!

What I wore today: Gap black tee shirt, F21 faux fur vest, UO skinny jeans and black Tory Burch flats.

After I left my sister, I went shopping with my parents in Soho. I have been dying for a classic trench coat for quite sometime and my parents agreed to buy me one. So we went to Topshop where I found a fabulous one. It's exactly what I wanted, I also bought this Chanel-ish polka dot purse, it's so cute. I must say I love having a Topshop in the United States, but it's not nearly as amazing as the one in London, which I could spend days in. But hey I'll still take it.

As for school goes I have a test every single day next week. So I better start studying. I just finished my project for Chemistry class which in I had to answer the question: What makes waterproof mascara waterproof? So I decided to make a giant mascara as part of the project and put the information on it.

Pretty cool right? Haha I hope I get a good grade on it, I think it deserves an A.

Tomorrow is already Friday? Wow this week has gone by extremely quickly. I was supposed to have my health final today but it was moved to Monday. So the only test I had to take today was my United States history test. I wish I could have just gotten the final over with, but what can you do? I have quite a bit of homework that I need to get done before this weekend, because I'll be celebrating with my sister for her birthday this weekend.

I can't believe my big sister is turning 25! I love her so much and hope that she loves the gift I bought her :) Next week is going to be an extremely busy one: Midterms. Going back to school after a three day weekend is always painful. And by painful I mean by the fact that I have a million things to do as well as midterms next week, woo hoo. February break cannot come soon enough, although I must admit I am a little sad that we won't be at school for Valentine's day, I love getting dressed up in pink and red. But I'll get over it, I would much rather be at home sleeping.

I had such a fun weekend with my wonderful sister. We played Wii, shopped at Topshop and ate way too much food at Max Brenner. Topshop was having a huge sale, 'buy one get one free', clearly I could not pass that up! I found a plaid skirt that I loved and could not decide what I wanted to get as my free item. My sister found a very pretty lace and sequin dress, I was too lazy to try it on so I just bought a two. Note to self: I am not a two at Topshop. Hopefully I can just exchange it for a size up, cross your fingers.

Today went by very quickly, probably because my math class was cancelled and I swear it feels like that class drags on for hours and hours even though it's only one hour long. But anyway today was pretty okay as school days go. I'm so thrilled that tomorrow is Friday, weekend here I come!

So the Lovely Bones come to the theaters tomorrow and I'm dying to see it. But I bought the book and would really like to read it before I see the movie. Ahh but I cannot decide, I saw Twilight the movie and then decided to read all four books afterwards. But I sort of wish I would've read the book first. Speaking of movies if anyone is contemplating whether or not to see Youth in Revolt, I would say pass, it's funny but extremely dumb, but hey I do love me some Michael Cera.

Not quite. Every year around school starting I always say "Ah, I can't wait for the cold weather." Although I do love the cold and the winter, I do not love when it is THIS cold. A little coat and a hat I can handle, but when I have to leave the house looking like Nanook of the North we have a problem. I was browsing on Bloomingdales.com and happened upon some fabulous sandals that were screaming my name. I do find it a little ridiculous for there to be new sandals on sale in early January but Fashion is always ten steps ahead (or some number of steps). And looking at these is just making me wish it was warm enough to wear them.

SALE. It's probably the most wonderful four letter word in the english language. I'm trying to be smarter with my money and save it, so that I can buy new fabulous Spring clothes when the time comes. But really who knows how long that will be. But anyway, I think it's still okay to buy a couple of things especially if they are sale. Here are some lovely things that I've been considering purchasing and have been pining over for some time.

Clearly I don't know if I'll be buying all of these things or even one of them. But I just love them each so much! I love owls and the second I saw the print of the French Connection dress I fell in love, it's quite a good deal and something that I could see myself wearing a lot. Finally the ring which is very affordable and fabulous, it's just a matter of paying shipping, is it worth it?

I decided to make two different posts for the two places I went during the break because they really were two different vacations. This trip to Dallas was the first time that I had flown alone, I know what you're thinking, she's 17 and she hasn't gone on a plane alone before? Well no I had not. And I was a tad nervous, but my loving father walked me to the gate on the way there but I was on my own on the way back.

I arrived in Dallas on New Years day, my best friend Noa picked me up at the airport, and her first question was "Do you mind if we go to the mall so I can buy something to wear for New Years?" My reply was "Do you remember who you're asking?", clearly I said yes. We went to the mall and they just happened to have opened a brand new F21. Of course I brought three choices of what to wear and ended up buying a new dress.

What I wore: F21 Semi-circle shoulder dress, black tights, jeweled bracelet and H&M black booties (that's me all the way to the right).

I had such a wonderful time in Dallas, it was so great to see all of my friends and many old classmates. Although it wasn't wonderfully warm like Miami the weather was still pretty nice compared to New York. I loved being there and seeing all the Dallas sights, I can't wait to visit again!

Hi! Can you believe its 2010 now? It sounds so weird to say and I can guarantee you that I will still be writing 2009 on my homework for the next month or so. Speaking of school, it started again :( It was so much nice to be on vacation and I had a blast, I promised you photos so here they are!

I had such a great time in Miami, the weather was wonderful and the food was delicious. My family moved from Miami to Dallas when I was 5, so unfortunately I don't remember Miami too well. Although It still felt a little like home, and we even drove past our old house which brought back a few selective memories. It was so weird to wear sandals considering I haven't worn them at home in months. Why is New York so cold? Anyway those Tory Burch huaraches were such a great find at Loehmanns, I can't wait until I can actually wear them.

So today was our last day of school before winter break, I'm so excited and relieved. I had three tests today, Health, French and Chemistry, talk about stressful! I am just so happy that today is over and I can finally relax. Although you know there is always that one evil teacher, who has to give you homework over the break. And its usually isn't that bad, but of course my English teacher decided to make us read 200 pages of Russian literature. Like seriously? I don't have time nor do I want to read it. Ugh lucky for her I will have lots of plane time to read it.

What I wore today: Gap tee, Anthropologie bow sweater. F21 pleather skirt, grey tights and Nine West boots.

I'm off to Florida on Friday, finally get to leave this 30 degree weather for a couple days and go to 70 degree weather. As soon as I get home from Florida, I leave to go to Texas the next morning. This is going to be one busy break, but I am uber excited. I have so much packing to do, so I better go get to it!

So I was all excited about Rodarte for Target when I woke up this morning. Unfortunately because of the snow my parents decided they didn't want to leave the house. So I thought I would do the next best thing, shop online. I looked on Target.com at about 10 o'clock and of course the one dress I was really dying for, the Leopard Lace Print Dress, was sold out. I was extremely bummed, but my dad decided that we needed groceries or something. He said that he would go to Target and buy me whatever Rodarte they had in my size. He came back with the Sequin Leopard Print Dress and Lace Print with Bow Top. Unfortunately as much as I liked the dress, it was top big :( So I was left with just the top.

Now don't get me wrong, this shirt is super cute and I love it! But I'm just so disappointed that they didn't have the dress. But today was the first day, so I'm sure they'll get in new shipments. You can be sure that I'll have my eyes glued to the screen until they do.

New Years.

So for my entire seventeen years of life, I have spent spent New Years with my parents or sometimes my friends in addition to my parents. Now I love my parents more than anything but I think it's about time that I spend New Years with only my friends. So this year I'm going to Dallas to stay with some of my friends and have great time. So its going to be a new new years (: I'm extremely excited because I haven't seen them in over a year, so of course I have to pick out the perfect outfit.

H&M beaded sweater. I actually am going to wear the cardigan version of this, but I couldn't find a photo. It has the same shoulders with gold beads, it has three quarter length sleeves, its cropped and its an open cardigan with no buttons.

UO velvet dress. I actually really wanted this dress in purple, but I decided it was better to go with black because then I would have many more things to pair it with. I'm usually not a fan of strapless dresses but I love that it's velvet and is really flattering.

H&M gold wedge. I am in love with these shoes. They are velvet just like the dress, which I know is a little overkill, but they look cute together. I wore these to my friend's Sweet 16 last night and they are surprisingly extremely comfortable.

I'm still unclear on the purse that I'm going to wear. Or whether or not I'm going to wear black opaque or not opaque tights. I suppose I'll have to try it on and see which looks the best. I am counting down the days until break, we currently have three more days of school, so close, yet so far. We're going to Miami in six days, ahh! I gotta go get a pedicure!

So as you know I received so many wonderful gifts for Hanukkah as well as a nice chunck of change. I have wanted a fabulous designer bag forever and have yet to get one. I have an abundance of Coach (my dad gets a discount) and A hand me down Prada. Although I have always dreamed of sporting around a Chanel, Gucci or Marc Jacobs bag and wearing it until it was unwearable. Like my sister wore my mothers monogramed Louis Vuitton until it was falling apart. Unfortunately I have been told by my parents that I will get my first Chanel at the same age that my sister got hers, 24. So I have quite some time for that, although I have found quite a couple of bags that are in my price range and that I'm in love with, but I cannot decide which one I like best!

Clearly all technology hates me. My internet has been down the past four days and that is my excuse for not blogging. But now it is finally back and I can tell you all about my day. I spent the day shopping with my many Hanukkah gift cards along side my lovely friend Andrea. We had a blast and almost froze. We went to Forever 21, Sephora and American Apparel. To be honest I'm not the biggest fan of AA, but I had a gift card there, and I do occasionally find something that I like.

The biggest bow headband ever? I think so.

I just had to a photo of this velvet bow, AA does sell the most random things.

So if you were wondering If I purchased this lovely headband, the answer to that would be no. Although I did buy the California Tulip Skirt in Cranberry. To my surprise Forever 21 wasn't that crowded today and I can't go there without leaving with something its just not possible. Although today I went a little overboard and bought a plethora of items including: the Wide Block Sweater Top (black), the Disco Sequin Knit Top, the Lace Sleeve Slub Top, the Jewel Heart Tee, and a multicolored Jeweled bracelet.

So I still have quite a few gift cards, but I decided that I want to buy one big thing. Although I'm not really clear yet. Do I want to buy clothing? an Accessory of some sort? Or I've kind of been wanting a Barnes and Noble Nook-e Reader. My sister got one for Hanukkah although It hasn't arrived yet because they are sold out everywhere. I'm not a huge reader, although I feel like I would read more if I could just take the nook will me everywhere. Well it's unclear at the moment but I'll decide soon enough.

Is it winter break yet? Each day of school feels like a week. Ugh, why must they torture us so? On the upside tomorrow I'm going on an all day field trip to the MET. I haven't been there is quite a while, so I'm sure that it'll be fun. Besides the fact that tomorrow is supposed to be a torrential downpour, at least I know I'll be inside.

What I wore today: Free People dress, J.Crew cardigan, grey tights and UO grey lace up boots.

I am just thrilled that I don't have to sit through six hours of class tomorrow and I'm even missing gym, talk about a bonus! Tomorrow is Wednesday which means that there will only be two more days until Hanukkah. Although I have already opened all of my gifts, I am still very excited. There's just something about the holiday that puts me in a great mood, I love the latkes, the dreidels, and the gelt. Seriously, what could be better than that?

Sorry about the shortage of blogging, my life has been a little hectic lately. Today was a normal boring day of school, so I don't have anything too exciting to report. Although my weekend was much more exciting and fun. Unfortunately my father is going to be out of town for the first four nights of Hanukkah. So my family decided that we were going to celebrate the first night early so we could all be together.

What I wore today: (of course some of my gifts!) Gap tee shirt, UO jeans and gold Anthropologie boots.

The tradition for most families is that you open one or two gifts a night. And I used to follow this every year, while my sister and parents would open all their gifts on the first night. But I just couldn't stand it this year, and since this year we celebrated early, of course I opened them all on Sunday. In addition to all of the wonderful things I received I also got lots of gift cards and have already started my online shopping. My family is extremely generous and I don't even know how I can properly thank them for all of my wonderful gifts.

Today could not have felt any longer, I was falling asleep in every class. Although I have absolutely no homework due tomorrow, so I guess I shouldn't be complaining. I have been waiting for today for quite some time, because today I got my hair highlighted for like the 800th time. I have naturally dark brown hair and have always wanted to be a blonde and I think I'm finally there, or pretty close to it. When I get older I would probably like to die my entire head blonde, as opposed to just getting highlights. But for now, I am very happy with the way it looks.

What I wore today: H&M dress, purple tights and Sam Edelman boots.

Can you believe that Hanukkah is in 9 days and Christmas is in 22? I sure can't. The holidays always seem to sneak up on me. Although I think I have actually bought all the gifts, that I needed to buy. So now I'm off to wrap them. Have a wonderful Friday readers!

Sorry about the mini hiatus. I was super busy over the break and my camera decided to die yesterday so I couldn't post. So I just got back from a five day break and I'm ready for another one. School is so stressful, do teachers think that we have no lives that we can spend hours doing homework? Apparently they do. I'm happy that tomorrow is Wednesday because it does feel as if this week is going by quite quickly.

What I wore today: F21 peanuts sweatshirt, F21 pleather skirt, black tights and black sequin converse.

So I made a bet with my friend that if she wore a skirt to school, (she only wears jeans), I would wear a sweatshirt. Now usually I would never be caught dead outside my house with a sweatshirt on. Although I agreed to the little wager, but everyone told me that this can't be considered a 'real' sweatshirt. But whatever, this was for sure one of the most comfortable outfits that I've ever warn to school. But I will not be planning on doing it again anytime soon.

I am still extremely full from Yesterday. I ate WAY too much pie. We had pumpkin, apple, berry and pecan, yum! Anyway, my parents and I decided that we didn't want to go to the mall on black Friday. Mostly because we didn't want to get run over by the crowds of people and I'm claustrophobic. We ended up just going to the Americana, (an upscale shopping center). The sales were pretty crappy but I managed to get some cute stuff, although of course they weren't on sale.

What I wore today: Gap black tee shirt, UO ruffled tiered skirt, blue & black Marc Jacobs sweater, black tights and Sam Edelman boots.

I can't believe its already Friday, this vacation is going by way too quickly. But before I know it, I'll be on winter break and will be going to sunny Florida and hopefully Texas. But before that is Hanukkah and I have started counting down the days: there are 14 days! woo hoo!

Rodarte for Target.

I've always loved Rodarte and how it always has a sort of costume look to it, but still sophisticated and fabulous. I am uber excited that Rodarte is making a Target GO collection. I always go bananas over the Target GO collections because lets face it, I'm in high school and this is the closet that I'm getting to designer clothes. At least ones that I can afford. My game plan is that my father goes the day the clothing arrives and basically buys everything they have in me and my sister's size. And we keep what we like and return what we don't. It's a great system, that has been working for quite some time.

Here's a photo of some of the pieces from the collection. I believe it has 50 or something pieces in total. The pictures aren't that great, but I'm sure some better ones will surfacing soon.

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving and the kitchen is already overflowing in ingredients. I'll be waiting patiently for a piece of pumpkin pie. I hope every has a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Today went by very quickly, probably because I was thinking about what I would be doing all vacation. I had to present something in French, which I was extremely nervous about. Because number one, I hate speaking in front of people and number two, I'm not so great at memorizing, especially in a different language. But it actually went okay and I think I did pretty well.

What I wore today: UO velvet tee, UO metallic panel skirt, black tights and Sam Edelman studded boots.

So as I said yesterday, I wore my new boots and I love them! I actually really liked this outfit and how it almost looked like it was a dress and got lots of compliments, which are always nice.

I am so ready for our five day break and am happy to be able to breath for a day or two. It's almost Thanksgiving and of course its a great time to spend with family and give thanks. To be completely honest, Thanksgiving is one of my least favorite holidays. Not about the giving thanks, but about the food. I've never liked turkey or stuffing and probably never will. But it's part of the holiday and I have to respect all of the cooks in my family. But between you and me I will be eagerly waiting for Hanukkah and for some potato latkes.

Today we had some sort of dancing assembly, so every class was shortened by about ten minutes. It was lovely and the day did feel significantly shorter. I am extremely happy that tomorrow is my last day before the five day break. I am so excited to be off from school. Unfortunately I thought I had no homework but then realized that I have a million things due tomorrow.

What I wore today: Free People sweater dress, grey tights and Boutique 9 metallic oxfords.

I bought these oxfords on Saturday and I absolutely love them! I got a million compliments on them today and they are very comfortable. I have been dying for a pair of oxfords for quite some time, so I'm very happy I finally have a pair.

My Sam Edelman boots finally came today! I was seriously considering canceling the order because they were taking so dang long. But they are very cute and like no other shoes that I own. So you can be sure that I will be wearing them tomorrow.

After school I went shopping at the mall with one my bestest friends' Andrea. We had a blast and both purchased some very cute items. Unfortunately I didn't really get a chance to use and of my gift cards, but I'm sure I will soon. We were pressed for time and only managed to make it to Forever 21 and Urban Outfitters.

Sequin Pocket Striped Tunic ($17.80). I feel like I have no shirts in my closet, so I decided that this is cute and it'll look great tucked into a skirt or with jeans.

Sequin Bow Wool Dress ($29.80). Lately I've been obsessed with sequins and the second I spotted this dress I fell in love. It's hard to tell from the photo but the wool also has little sparkles in it.

Silence & Noise Devore Velvet Boxy Tee ($54). Another top that I actually did need. In addition to sequins I've also been wanting lots of velvet lately. I thought this was cute and simple and would look great with a bunch of things.

So for only going to two stores, I think I did pretty well. Tomorrow I'm off to NYC for some more shopping. Just wanted to let everyone know that they should follow my blog! And thank you all for reading :)

Boy am I beat. Although I'm not really sure why considering I did absolutely nothing in school today. My only classes were French, Gym and Chemistry. Why did I even go to school? Although tomorrow I have a very busy day and no off periods, now that's a tear jerker. I was going to go to the midnight showing of New Moon, because I am not ashamed to admit that I am a HUGE Twilight fan. Although I decided that's it's going to be way too hectic and honestly I'll probably fall asleep.

So tomorrow will just be a boring day I suppose, although I do have the Project Runway Finale to look forward to. I myself, am rooting for Carol Hannah. So for my birthday I received lots of shopping money. And when it comes to shopping, I'm like a kid in a candy store. There are so many things that I would love to buy, but I need to be semi realistic here. Here are some things that I've been contemplating about buying, but am still unclear about.

UO Deena & Ozzy Colorblock Wedge ($88). The second I spotted these I fell in love, they are a great price and I can get a ten percent off with a discount code, but do I really need another pair of heels? It's not like I really have anywhere to wear them. Quick! Someone invite me to a party...

Betsey Johnson Pearl Bracelet W. Removable Spider Pin ($85). This bracelet is so adorable, and I love the pearls! Although it is on the pricey side, so I'm not sure if its worth it, I think I should try it on in person and then decide.

As you know I got a new phone and it's great although I really miss my blinged out case. I had a bejeweled Hello Kitty case on my Curve, but sadly it doesn't fit my new Tour. So I was thinking of getting a new jazzy case. But not a bejeweled one because a lot of the stones feel off and it was too delicate. I found this sequin case and I'm loving it, I've never seen anything like it and every gal needs a little sparkle to add to their phone.

School felt very 'easy' today. I didn't really do much except that I took a Health test. But Health is so easy that it's seriously a joke. Today I found out that I got an A+ for the quarter, no surprise, I mean its Health. Hopefully not the only A+ on my report card :/ The rest of my day was pretty good except for French. My French teacher always tells me that I need to participate more and I must have raised my hand like 15 times today, but did she call on me once? Nope. I really don't understand teachers sometimes.

What I wore today: Gap oatmeal tee shirt, F21 black skirt, F21 black pleather vest, black tights and BCBG studded snake skin flats.

I felt very rocker chick today, which isn't at all like my personality, although I thought it was a cute outfit and that's all that matters. I am in LOVE with these shoes! I got them yesterday after returning MBMJ flats that my parents bought me for my Birthday. I loved the MBMJ flats but they were just too springy and these BCBGs are year round.

I could not find the link for these for some reason, so here's an up close picture of them. It's hard to tell but they are black/cream alligator print with gold studs. But my parents agreed with my choice and I'm very happy with them.

Yesterday I celebrated my seventeenth birthday, with nine of my closet friends, we took a limo into NYC and went to one my favorite restaurants, Amber. The food was delicious and a fun time was had by all! I received so many nice gifts, as well as giftcards and cannot wait to spend them. My sister made a wonderful toast and I hope she knows that I love her more than anything!

So Today was Friday the 13th and I thought that I have had enough bad luck this week already that hopefully I would be safe. But unfortunately I did have some minor bad luck today. After gym class as I was getting changed I put on my boots and one of them would not zip up. I tried zipping it up again and again and eventually it just completely broke. I didn't want to walk around with one unzipped boot so I decided just to wear my gym sneakers (aka red converse) with my black tights. I felt really dumb but at least it was only for one hour.

Tiring Thursday.

It's been a long day. The weather was disgusting out today and it was not smart to wear suede boots. So my luck with technology has been crappy lately. I told you about my computer crashing. Today I got my computer back and found out that apple was not able to save anything that was on my computer. So I lost everything, my photos, music and documents. I've been trying to cope with the news, it's really upsetting to lose all of that. But on a higher note, I went to Verizon to get my phone fixed and ended up getting a new phone instead. I am very happy with my new blackberry tour so I guess that kinda helps with the computer, only a little.

What I wore today: Anna Sui for Target dress, black tights and suede Steve Madden over the knee boots.

Ahh, not an easy day to say the least, but I'm trying to deal. At least I have the project runway finale to look forward to. I'm sorry that I haven't been posting as much lately, now that I have my computer back, I'll try to post again every day.

So as mentioned before over the past weekend I went to Chicago with my family to celebrate my cousin's wedding. I love Chicago and it IS my kind of town, and its always nice to see my cousins and my extended family all in one place. It was a very hectic weekend although I managed to do plenty of damage shopping and had tons of cousin fun!

Of course I had known about this wedding for months and for the life of me could not decide what to wear. I have an abundance of wedding appropriate dresses in my closet and tried on at least ten before I settled on this one.

What I wore: Anna Sui for Target dress, black tights and Nina booties.

I went nuts when Anna Sui came out with a line for Target, I think I bought almost every single piece that they made. Anyway our trip was lovely and my sister and I danced the night away to Michael Jackson songs.

This Saturday I'm a having my birthday party with a couple of friends and going out to dinner, I can't wait :) Hope that everyone had a lovely Tuesday! And no school tomorrow, thank you Veteran's Day.

I had a lovely time in Chicago and will be sure to post pictures soon but until then I thought I would show you some of the shoes that I have been dreaming about lately. There are too many to show, but I picked out my favorite two pairs of the moment.

Prada Fall 2009, how amazing are these? They look like a weapon or something, I'm not even sure, but I am sure that I love them.

Dolce and Gabbana Fall 2009, Okay so these are clearly amazing, I mean shoes with faces on them, you can't go wrong. Words cannot express how fabulous that I think these shoes are.

So Apple is currently fixing my computer and I will finally have my computer back in two days, woo hoo! Although they aren't sure if they will be able to transfer any of my files on to the new hardrive, I sure hope so, It would be so depressing to have to lose all of my work. But I'm crossing my fingers, so we'll see what happens.

Today is my seventeenth birthday! Woo hoo! Sadly yesterday my computer decided to crash yesterday and that's why I didn't blog. Who even knew that Apples crashed anyway? I thought that was unheard of, clearly its not. Its only two years old, which is pretty new for a computer, hopefully Apple can fix it or maybe I'll be getting another birthday present? :) So I am currently blogging from my mother's lovely mac book air. Anyway today was a great birthday, it actually didn't rain which I was quite thrilled about. And all of my friends and even some random jokers wished me happy birthday, which is always nice.

What I wore today: Betsey Johnson suspenders/skirt, oatmeal tee shirt, black tights and black Tory Burch flats.

We out to dinner to my favorite restaurant in town. It's called Toku and is amazing asian food, it was so yummy and I am stuffed! Tomorrow I'm going to Chicago for my cousin's wedding, so I should probably go pack.

So as you know readers, I'm off from school today. So what is there really to do besides online shopping? Alright so I could think of a bunch of things but that's not going to stop me from shopping and by shopping I really just mean looking. I thought I would post about some of the things that I have been pining for just in case anyone was wondering ;). Haha and also just to show you all of my new fabulous finds.

Betsey Johnson Pearl Stretch Charm Bracelet with Skull. I actually bought this as a gift for my best friend and was tempted to buy it for myself, I love that it's pearls but has a skull on it. It totally embodies my sense of style.

Forever 21 Multi Color Ruffle Dress. There is something about this dress that just feels so me. I love the colors and if you click on the link the back of the dress is also really beautiful.

Anthropologie Nantucket Necklace. Whales are so cute, especially when they are accessories. I really like that the necklace is all silver and gold sequins, so it would match with just about anything.

Other lovely items that I found include the Free People Sparkle Earwarmer, I love the color and I like that its like a headband but keeps you warm at the same time. As well as the Forever 21 Owl Head Ring, so cute and I love owls!

School could not have felt any slower today. But my art class was cancelled which was a nice surprise, although I love art, so it wasn't really something that I wanted to be cancelled. After school I went to the Apple Store to get my computer fixed. It keeps turning its self off and has been extremely slow lately. So they did some tests and what not and I suppose that its fixed, although it doesn't seem to be that much faster honestly.

What I wore today: UO flower print dress, Old Navy cardigan, black tights and my new black sequin converse.

I am over the moon happy that I have no school tomorrow, some sort of teacher conference. I cannot wait to do absolutely nothing all day, except for maybe a little studying. I cannot believe that my birthday is in 4 days! I cannot wait.

Did a lot of errands today, went to DSW to look for heels for my cousins wedding and ended up buying three pairs of shoes. Including heels that I did actually need, which are Nina booties, I love them so much! They are so chic and are a knock off of a fabulous pair of miu mius. I bought Marc by Marc Jacobs snow boots and all black sequin converse which were on sale for $27, so I couldn't resist! I also went to Michaels and Target to buy who knows what and still managed to have a delicious lunch at CPK with my dad.

What I wore today: Forever 21 grey sweater, UO cream leather jacket, H&M bow headband, striped scarf, UO blue skinny jeans, Frye booties.

Yesterday I went to Woodberry Commons, for those of you who don't know what that is, it's a fabulous outlet mall in New York with every store imaginable. My purchases include the Frye boots which I wore today and love love love. Two cute tee shirts from J.crew, including one with a bow on it and one with a sequin scotty dog. A fur slap bracelet from Longchamp, which sounds weird but is actually awesome. And lastly I bought a skirt/suspenders from Betsey Johnson.

As soon as I spotted this Snoopy ride I just had to take a picture with it. My sister and I are both obsessed with snoopy, and how cute is he with his little hat?

Oh Halloween at school is always a comical experience, some people go all out and others you just wonder what they were thinking when they purchased their hideous costumes. Although I must say this year was pretty depressing, not very many people dressed up. I walked into one of my classes and was literally the only kid wearing any kind of costume and I hardly went all out, needless to say I was embarrassed and removed my ears.

What I wore today: Erin Fetherston for Target bunny print dress, pink bunny ears, white tights and black flats. (P.S. sorry for the heinous face)

Haha But that was my last class of the day, So I basically left them on the entire day and they didn't even hurt my head surprisingly.

Wow I feel like I accomplished so many things today. I went to school, saw all the teachers that I was supposed to see and felt good about all the quizzes a took. I went to chem tutoring because seriously, how does anyone understand that? And I went to figure drawing. And still managed to come up with a last minute Halloween costume, it's pretty lame, but it's still cute.

What I wore today: Gap royal blue tee shirt, Free People corduroy skirt, grey tights, silver skinny belts and silver Tory Burch flats.

As much as love these shoes and all things Tory Burch they kill my feet, boy am I happy that I didn't have to walk home today. Okay seriously, where are my boots? I think I ordered them like three weeks ago and I am DYING to wear them! Ah I hope they come soon! Everyone cross your fingers.

Weird Wednesday.

Ugh, what is this weather? It poured all day long and I had to walk home in it, my leather boots are now a shade darker and hopefully not ruined. But of course now that i'm home it stopped raining, can you say typical? We played Pictionary in Health today and I was complaining because my team only had four people in it and everyone else's had five or six. I am very competitive when it comes to stupid games, so I wanted to win and get bonus points of course. And we actually did win, so that was a lovely way to start off my morning. The rest of my day was pretty good, besides math which felt like it was hours long.

What I wore today: Forever 21 shirt, UO peace sign belt, UO skinny jeans and Seychelles leather boots.

Here's an up close picture of my belt, how cute is it? I bought it on sale for $10 and have already worn it quite a couple of times.

I have a long long day tomorrow, a french quiz, an english quiz and a million things due, not to mention figure drawing, wish me luck!

School felt particularly long today, probably because I had four hours of class in a row and needless to say I was starving by the 4th class. But luckily I had 6th period off so I got out of school at two o'clock, which was pretty good times. And then I found out that my three hour figure drawing class was cancelled, which I was ecstatic about.

What I wore today: Forever 21 maroon ruffle dress, H&M gold studded belt, black tights and black Nine West boots.

Sorry that the photo of me was kind of shotty, here's an up close picture of the front of the dress, I love this dress because I love the bows, this is feeling like a bow kind of a week.

I officially started my birthday countdown yesterday, and it's in nine days! I'm so excited, the big seventeen, I can finally see R rated movies, which isn't really that exciting but I'll take it. I still haven't decided what I'm going to be for Halloween but I'll be sure tell you when I do.

The weather was gorgeous today and I actually enjoyed walking home, that's a shocker. School was pretty good, my French class was cancelled so I had 1st and 2nd period off which was nice to relax and have a pretty easy day with not too much to do. I made my bff take pictures of me for my AP art class, we have to have a self portrait of ourselves to paint and I have no idea what picture I wanted to use.

What I wore today: Forever 21 houndstooth black & white dress, Gap black long sleeved tee, black tights and Tory Burch flats.

Today was a stressful day to say the least. A chemistry test and United States history test. In a row. Not too much fun. I am relieved its the weekend, but the next thing on my agenda is that I need to figure out what i'm doing for Halloween. I love getting dressed up and Halloween is definitely my favorite secular holiday. Unfortunately I currently have no plans whatsoever, so i'm hoping that will change very soon. I also need to figure out if I want to do anything for my birthday which is in less than 2 weeks, yikes!

What I wore today: Anthropologie black tee, Forever 21 metallic skirt, dark grey heather tights and Nine West boots.

I went to the mall today and bought 2 fabulous vests at Forever 21.

Wacky Wednesday.

I apologize for not posting yesterday, it was just a hectic and VERY long day. Today was ten times better and just a better day of school in general. For all of you who live in the this wonderful state of New York, what IS this weather? I personally love fall/winter and was so excited that it was finally getting chilly. Although today was around 70 degrees as tomorrow is supposed to be also. I'm not a fan, like what am I even supposed to wear? I already put all of my spring clothes away. So I tried my best to look October appropriate without being too warm, here's what I came up with:

What I wore today: UO leopard tank top, UO high waisted denim shorts, black tights and Tory Burch black quilted flats.

I didn't want to just wear shorts and feel like an idiot, so I decided that shorts and tights was a good compromise. But ugh, now what should I wear tomorrow? I'm crossing my fingers for some cold weather real soon. Oh and can't forgot! Thank you chubby laces for taking this lovely photo so that I didn't have to take a lame mirror photo.

Nothing too exciting to report today. Just another boring day of school, I woke up at 7:00 which is 30 minutes later then when I usually wake up, so needless to say I was freaking out and rushing. Thank the lord I picked my outfit out last night! School felt like a freezer all day, apparently they haven't turned the heat on yet. Although i'm sure i'll be complaining soon that its too hot inside.

What I wore today: printed dress from UO, black tights and Nine West boots.
